A note from our owner, taylor
Owning a salon was always my end goal - I have worked for so many amazing owners and it inspired me to one day open my own space. Things finally lined up in September of 2023 and we signed the lease for Whiskey and Willow in Prescott! It was only right to have a boutique as well, bringing my two favorite things together in one beautiful space. I am so thankful for my team and my amazing parents who have helped me every step of the way.
Whiskey and Willow has truly been a labor of love and I am so excited to share my dream, vision and space with every single one of you. It was so important to me that this space made everyone that walked in the door feel like they were just going to hang out with their besties and get pampered. Thank you for being here and thank you for the support! I cannot wait for you to experience Whiskey and Willow and love it as much as we all do.

Hi, My name is April Heil! I was born in San Diego, CA and attended Bellus Academy for Cosmetology. I moved to Arizona in 2018 with my now husband and never looked back. I’ve been doing hair for ten years and have loved every moment. I love doing all hair but my passion lies with doing blondes, lived in/natural color, and extensions. I absolutely love enhancing a woman's natural beauty.
If I'm not behind the chair, you can usually find me spending quality time with my family out in nature. My husband, Thomas, is a wildland firefighter for the US Forest Service, and together we have a loving, yet wild son named Wyatt. We love hiking, fishing, camping, backpacking, etc. Its truly where I find my peace.I want to build personal relationships with my clients. I want to be with you during graduations, 21st or 50th birthdays, your worst breakups and your dream proposals. I want to see your babies being born and your businesses thrive! I want to be with you through it all, so if you'd like to build a fufilling relationship with your stylist all the while feeling like your most beautiful self, I'd LOVE to have you in my chair!
Meet April
Hi, my name is Taylor Rae, Owner and Stylist at Whiskey and Willow! I was born and halfway raised in Prescott, Arizona. My mother owned The Ranch House Boutique on Whiskey Row in the early 90’s and fell in love with the garment industry. Soon after, she started her own clothing business and we moved to California so she could pursue her dreams and be closer to the garment district in LA. I attended Cosmetology School over there and fell in love with hair.
Although my mother was sad I didn’t follow in her footsteps in the fashion industry, she was happy to see me thriving and being creative through hair. I graduated in 2012 and started assisting immediately. I worked under many talented stylists, learning all I could. We were trained under Vidal Sassoon techniques and I continued working there for four years. I moved onto another salon and worked there until moving back home to Prescott in 2019. I was so happy to be home. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors with my fiancé Shawn and his beautiful daughter Dani. We spend most of our time with family and friends, always on the move and never a dull moment.

When I’m not in the salon, I’m a wife, mom, and dog lover who’s always up for an adventure. Whether it’s exploring a new destination or hunting down the best tacos, I’m living life with a “work to live” mindset and loving every minute of it. I can’t wait to meet and get to know eachother!

Hi beautiful people! I’m Danielle, the face and artist behind Ella Rose Beauty Studio I’m a licensed Cosmetologist and certified lash/brow artist! I've been a brow artist for 8 years and a lash artist for 4 years now.
I am from Lake Havasu, AZ but have been living in Prescott Valley for the past 11 years and loving every bit of it. I am a mom of 2 handsome boys who I absolutely obsessed with and have been married to my high school sweetheart since 2015. I am obsessed with all thing's beauty and thrive to make sure you always feel your best! I love the confidence boost the services I offer gives to all my clients with the added bonus of waking up and feeling already, ready for the day!
